Stainless Steel Pipes and its Grades

Stainless Steel 321 Pipes:
Stainless Steel 321 Pipes are comprised standard austenitic 18/8 chromium nickel alloy with the addition of Titanium, that stabilizes the material, removing its susceptibility to the effects of intergranular corrosion. Due to this property, it is a highly preferred product in high-temperature environments. This grade of steel shows brilliant forming and welding qualities and also holds excellent toughness even at cryogenic temperatures.
Stainless Steel 321 Pipes have their applications in the heat treatment industry as they have high-temperature sustaining capabilities. They are used as furnace parts, heat exchangers, and even in aircraft exhausts. Other uses include use in refineries and thermal oxidizers. This pipe work efficiently under high pressure and temperature and are thus in high demand.

Stainless Steel 317L Pipes:
Stainless steel 317L pipes are high quality tubes that offer great tensile strength. These tubes are made using high-tech machinery and top notch technology. They have long lives and offer great service in extreme environments. Stainless steel 317L pipes are suitable for use in high temperatures and provide excellent resistance to corrosion.
Due to their special properties, Stainless steel 317L pipes are made use of in various industries. They have excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of chemicals, especially in acidic chloride environments such as those encountered in pulp and paper mills. Other uses of stainless steel 317l pipes include flue gas desulfurization scrubber systems, chemical and petro-chemical processing equipment’s, food processing equipment and textile equipment.

Stainless Steel 347 Pipes:
Stainless Steel 347 Pipes are widely used in various industries due to their ability to withstand corrosion. The pipes of this grade are in high demand due to their superb characteristics. The pipes serve the purpose of fabrication of equipment’s that are placed for work under severe corrosive conditions and are also common to the petroleum refining industries.
The pipes of this grade are suitable for use in environments with high temperature such as in high-temperature chemical process, steam services and radiant super heaters. Stainless steel 347 pipes are also used in refineries and as a part of Heavy duty exhaust systems. General refinery piping consists of this very grade of stainless steel.
